MENTAL WELLBEING | World Bipolar Day | 30th March
Bipolar disorder can make someone’s mood change dramatically from extreme highs (mania) to extreme lows (depression). These changes can be overwhelming and distressing, but a person may feel well between these periods.
World Bipolar Day is organised by the International Bipolar Foundation to bring global awareness to bipolar conditions and to eliminate social stigma.
MENTAL WELLBEING | Stress Awareness Month | April
Stress Awareness Month has been held every April, since 1992 to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic.
Many aspects of life can cause stress and you can access tips and coping strategies to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
MENTAL WELLBEING | Mental Health Awareness Week | 13th - 19th May
2024 will take place from 13 to 19 May, on the theme of "Movement: Moving more for our mental health".Being active is important for our mental health.
But so many of us struggle to get enough exercise. We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week we want to help people to find moments for movement in their daily routines.
Going for a walk in your neighbourhood, putting on your favourite music and dancing around the living room, chair exercises when you’re watching television – it all counts!
